Polling sites busy in primary elections

Jefferson County voters wanting to cast their ballots early for the May 29 primary election have until the end of the week to do so.

Early voting ends Friday, May 29.

Polling places for the remainder of the week will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

In little more than a week of the two-week early voting period, polling places have been busy, signaling what likely will be a large turn-out.
