Geraldine “Gerry” Jason Dipmore

Geraldine “Gerry” Jason Dipmore, age 77, formerly of Port Arthur and Beaumont, Texas, was born on October 24, 1942 and went home to Jesus on May 19, 2020.

Gerry attended Abraham Lincoln School from kindergarten thru high school graduation (1960) where she was Miss Lincoln (1959-1960), going on to graduate from Huston-Tillotson University.

Geraldine retired in 2007 after 40 years at the Dept of Housing & Urban Development.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Lavielle and Andrew Jason, Sr.; three brothers, Lester Jason (Olar), James Jason, and Donald Jason (Mary); sister, Bernardine Jason; half-brother, Herbert Jason; nephew, Wendell Pettigrew; niece, Alike Jason; and six in-laws.

Gerry leaves behind two daughters Cheryl Dipmore and Deidre McClain; son Keifton Dipmore; brother Andrew Jason, Jr. (Mary); seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; six nephews, seven nieces, dozens of cousins, and a host of friends.

Her viewing will take place at Gabriel Funeral Home in Port Arthur on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 9:00-10:00 AM.

The Graveside Service will follow at Live Oak Memorial Park at 11:00 AM.
